In the 7th minute Patricio Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wlodzimierz Dawiec saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wlodzimierz Dawiec showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 8th minute of the match. In the 10th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wlodzimierz Dawiec saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 12th minute, Ingemar Tolsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mörbyhus Palace fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. 15 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Patricio Costa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wlodzimierz Dawiec narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ingemar Tolsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 22nd minute of the game Jens-Ola Finnman made a throw-in which Kenny Valrot played forward. In the 27th minute of the match, Kenny Valrot got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jonathan Ferrant was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 28th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patricio Costa to maneuver through the defense. In the 29th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wlodzimierz Dawiec saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 32 minutes into the game, Ingemar Tolsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mörbyhus Palace's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Venezuela the free kick. Rigoberto Mina kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tobias Nyberg in the 36th minute of play. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 43 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wlodzimierz Dawiec narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Jens-Ola Finnman fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mörbyhus Palace's protests and gave Jens-Ola Finnman a yellow card for diving instead.

Mörbyhus Palace's Per Sundström was substituted for Tommy Hagström. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kenny Carlsson in the 54th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kenny Carlsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Wlodzimierz Dawiec showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Costa in the 56th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jose Correa during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Per Sundström in the 62nd minute of play. Jose Correa kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. After 65 played minutes Mörbyhus Palace got a freekick which was hit by Ingemar Tolsson. In the 68th minute, Kenny Carlsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Patricio Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Mörbyhus Palace's Kenny Carlsson. But to his dismay, Kenny Carlsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. 78 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Kenny Carlsson came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kenny Carlsson in the 79th minute of play. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Wlodzimierz Dawiec made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. Alex Chicote kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. 91 minutes into the game, Per Sundström was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mörbyhus Palace's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Venezuela the free kick. After 91 played minutes Mörbyhus Palace got a freekick which was hit by Per Sundström.
