Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. In the 11th minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Genaro Remicio kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 1-0 in the 12 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when 马正益 got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Illescas in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Valentin Wæversø saved 无锡联队 from getting behind. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. Rigoberto Mina charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rigoberto Mina the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The throw-in from 石邦国 in the 85th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Venezuela's Jose Correa. 88 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Aare Lõhmus came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, 无锡联队's 石邦国 got a free kick in the 90th minute. After 93 minutes of play, 无锡联队's 赵南珂 made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! Patricio Costa's late challenge caught a 无锡联队's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Patricio Costa helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Patricio Costa got a free kick in the 96th minute. 无锡联队's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
