Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Severino Alves kicked off to start the match. Tomas Berganza took the ball and in the 2 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tommie van Asseldonk. Tommie van Asseldonk dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. 5 minutes into the match, FENIX FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alex Cambeiro came free, but Tommie van Asseldonk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 7th minute Panama were awarded a corner. Abraham Alguacil went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Abraham Alguacil almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FENIX FC's Tommie van Asseldonk did a great save. After 9 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Alex Cambeiro. Valdomiro Seco took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 10th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Marcos Cotilla. Panama's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With an all-out effort, Panama's Tommie van Asseldonk threw himself towards the right post 14 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Tomas Berganza, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After some careless play in the Panama defense, Dráusio Madureira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcos Cotilla. The Panama fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcos Cotilla should have stopped the shot. Severino Alves's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcos Cotilla read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Tomas Berganza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tommie van Asseldonk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidoro Sarmiento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 29 minutes into the game, Abraham Alguacil recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tommie van Asseldonk. Abraham Alguacil showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. 35 minutes into the match, FENIX FC's Valdomiro Seco sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcos Cotilla narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severino Alves in the 43rd minute of the match. 48 minutes into the match, FENIX FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Berganza came free, but Tommie van Asseldonk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Berganza was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, FENIX FC's goal looked a bit too open when Abraham Alguacil came free, but Tommie van Asseldonk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of FENIX FC booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miguel Miralles didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tommie van Asseldonk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isidoro Sarmiento, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. After 64 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Dylan Sarmiento. In the 65th minute Aloísio Arce shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 67 minutes had been played when some careless play by Panama's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Valdomiro Seco was slow to take the kick. During this time FENIX FC's players had a chance to rest. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Valdomiro Seco managed to get in a good position for a shot. FENIX FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Valdomiro Seco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcos Cotilla breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 70th minute, Matthew Garrido hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severino Alves in the 76th minute of the match. After 80 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Felipe Ros. Valdomiro Seco took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcos Cotilla. Marcos Cotilla dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. After a defensive mix-up in Panama's zone, Dráusio Madureira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcos Cotilla came out of the goal and Dráusio Madureira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Oton Malnar kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Aloísio Arce's late challenge caught a Panama's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aloísio Arce helped the player get up and apologised. In the 90th match minute, FENIX FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aloísio Arce to maneuver through the defense. Dráusio Madureira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Marcos Cotilla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chants of FENIX FC echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Panama had held the ball for most of the match.
