GreenUnited's Carlomagno Vellosillo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Pedro Manzanares in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 71 played minutes GreenUnited got a freekick which was hit by Carlomagno Vellosillo. Carlomagno Vellosillo hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yaman Akar got free with Pedro Manzanares in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 83rd minute, Frans Laine hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sebastián Torrico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ignacio Mastache in the 84th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ignacio Mastache in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sebastián Torrico prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 95 minutes into the match, Abram Secada notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of GreenUnited's Sebastián Torrico. Sebastián Torrico was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Colombia players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
