A collision led to Azzurri FC getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Bartlomiej Winnicki hit a great ball. Hando Festini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kendrick Schumacher got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. After 10 minutes, Malcom Payton mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Azzurri FC and the Venezuela players grew even worse after the yellow card. Malcom Payton kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Nelson Jodion stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Nelson Jodion tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Azzurri FC booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joshua Secada didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Jules Barrett kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. 25 minutes into the game, Carlos Tello cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hando Festini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 29th minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jules Barrett, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Patricio Costa during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Through an outstanding action, after 32 minutes, Jonathan Ferrant successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Rigoberto Mina hit a great ball. Malcom Payton was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 34th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Jonathan Venegas's late challenge caught a Azzurri FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jonathan Venegas helped the player get up and apologised. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kendrick Schumacher in the 41st minute. Carlos Tello received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 45th play minutes Jules Barrett shot 3-0, a short shot which went by Jonathan Ferrant and just under the crossbar into goal.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kendrick Schumacher in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. In the 53rd minute, Malcom Payton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 54th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rigoberto Mina to maneuver through the defense. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jules Barrett's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. After a rather tough play, Azzurri FC's Bartlomiej Winnicki got a free kick in the 61st minute. The long shot by Tomas Illescas in the 62nd minute really tested Hando Festini's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 63rd minute Jules Barrett shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alex Chicote kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. 70 minutes into the match, Azzurri FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Hando Festini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomas Illescas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hando Festini having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jose Correa got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carlos Tello in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 88 minutes into the match, Azzurri FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Hando Festini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In a very dangerous position, a player in Azzurri FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 89th minute. Penalty! Hando Festini had in the 90thth minute some difficulties stopping Tomas Illescas's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kendrick Schumacher, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
