Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Leonel Caponi kicked off to start the match. Roberto-Carlos Abbondanzieri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 9th minute of play. 10 minutes had been played when some careless play by Club Atlético Escocia's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tomas Illescas was slow to take the kick. During this time Venezuela's players had a chance to rest. After having played for 12 minutes, Jonas Tauro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atlético Escocia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonas Tauro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Jonas Tauro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Jonas Tauro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 24 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jonas Tauro. When Leonel Caponi came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Club Atlético Escocia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonel Caponi couldn't finish the play. Clemente Oroitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 31st minute, Jose Correa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leonel Caponi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Justin Tello hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. 36 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Anastasio Gagriel came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Club Atlético Escocia were awarded a corner in the 37th minute after Venezuela's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Leonel Caponi took the corner. After taking down the ball on Club Atlético Escocia's corner Leonel Caponi fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jonathan Ferrant quite easily take care of the ball. Leonel Caponi took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 43rd match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Gaos to maneuver through the defense. When the match clock showed 44 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Jonas Tauro sped through Venezuela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Roberto-Carlos Abbondanzieri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Illescas was the one to do the kick off. After 62 minutes, Leonel Caponi made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 65th minute Leonel Caponi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 66 minutes of play, Club Atlético Escocia's Leonel Caponi made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! Club Atlético Escocia made a substitution. Flavio Ricart replaced Narciso Sauveur. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anastasio Gagriel, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. In the 75th minute, Alex Chicote hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 77th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Chicote to maneuver through the defense. In the 77th minute, Justin Tello got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonas Tauro in the 79th minute of the match. In the 82nd minute, Titan Nahas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Titan Nahas in the 85th minute of play. A collision led to Club Atlético Escocia getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Aquiles Lazcano hit a great ball. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonas Tauro, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Club Atlético Escocia's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
