Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jorge Bitxintxo got the match started through his kick off. After a defensive mix-up in FC. BRAILA-CHERCEA's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tibor Berkes came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Camilo Gisbert fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ecuador's protests and gave Camilo Gisbert a yellow card for diving instead. In the 5th minute, Camilo Gisbert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 9 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC. BRAILA-CHERCEA's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. Teodor Zegreanu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. FC. BRAILA-CHERCEA's Tibor Berkes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 15th minute of play. Tibor Berkes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 18th minute of the match. Jorge Bitxintxos short, quick shot in the 19thth minute got Julio Vera to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A hard shot 19 in the game by Jorge Bitxintxo from a close distance when the talented Julio Vera managed to make a qualified save. Ecuador's players were relieved. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to FC. BRAILA-CHERCEA getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Jorge Bitxintxo hit a great ball. In the 42nd match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antonio Arias to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodor Zegreanu in the 43rd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 44 minutes into the match, FC. BRAILA-CHERCEA's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Tibor Berkes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 45th minute. In the 46th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tibor Berkes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Ecuador were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, FC. BRAILA-CHERCEA's Tibor Berkes got control of the ball when Felix Montenegro tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 56 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, FC. BRAILA-CHERCEA's Basarab Tiberian got a free kick in the 56th minute. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Bitxintxo in the 59th minute of the match. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. In the 71st minute Jorge Bitxintxo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 79 minutes into the match, FC. BRAILA-CHERCEA's goalkeeper Tibor Berkes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Tibor Berkes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Teodor Zegreanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tibor Berkes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 88th minute. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 89th minute after FC. BRAILA-CHERCEA's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. In the 91st minute, Primitivo Andino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Teodor Zegreanu in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tibor Berkes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Andino in the 94th minute of play. Ecuador played a much better game than FC. BRAILA-CHERCEA and deserved their victory. The FC. BRAILA-CHERCEA players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
