Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Güner Özguven kicked off to start the match. If Luis Andino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Güner Özguven tried to sneak it across the goal line. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mehmet Çağrı Açıker read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sungur Paşa, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. When Ecuador's Felix Montenegro in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Mehmet Çağrı Açıker stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniel Zorita's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Felix Montenegro in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mehmet Çağrı Açıker prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 32 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mehmet Çağrı Açıker narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mehmet Çağrı Açıker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 33rd minute of play. In the 36th minute, Hikmet Tükelay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Cristian Sancho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mehmet Çağrı Açıker was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. The ATAKUM FK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cemalettin Türkoğlu in the 56th minute of play. Naglis Alkevičius hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in ATAKUM FK's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mehmet Çağrı Açıker came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to ATAKUM FK getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Güner Özguven hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Armando Calisto during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Ecuador booed when ATAKUM FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armando Calisto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sungur Paşa in the 74th minute of play. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mehmet Çağrı Açıker having to interfere. After having played for 80 minutes, Sungur Paşa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ATAKUM FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sungur Paşa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 82 minutes into the match, ATAKUM FK's goalkeeper Mehmet Çağrı Açıker had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Julio Vera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sungur Paşa went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. When Sungur Paşa came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the ATAKUM FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sungur Paşa couldn't finish the play. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
