Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Axel Tasis made the kick off which started today's match. In the 3rd minute, Hugo Ferrant hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 4th match minute, Fierce was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaston Le Flem to maneuver through the defense. In the 7th minute, Clovis Lenoble ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After 11 minutes of play, Fierce's Gaston Le Flem made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fabrice Lepetit made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Lautaro Puig sent off a good shot on target. In the 15th minute of the match Costa Rica got a corner. Fierce's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Axel Tasis ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Costa Rica's Lautaro Puig to fire away a dangerous shot which Fabrice Lepetit despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 20th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aaron Alcocer to maneuver through the defense. After 22 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Efrain Moruga. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clovis Lenoble, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. After a rather tough play, Fierce's Alexandre Bertholet got a free kick in the 37th minute. Gaston Le Flem might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benito Sanz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gaston Le Flem ran back to his position shaking his head. 46 minutes into the game, Fierce's Clovis Lenoble nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clovis Lenoble in the 46th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Clovis Lenoble to make the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Clovis Lenoble kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Benito Sanz. That made the score 0-4 in the 54 minute of play. Fabrice Lepetit showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Tasis, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Axel Tasis kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Eliseo Noboa hit a great ball. Axel Tasis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 68th minute, Fierce's Clovis Lenoble dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Efrain Moruga hit a great ball. 80 minutes into the game, Lautaro Puig cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-5. Fabrice Lepetit was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a little luck, Costa Rica's Benito Sanz got control of the ball when Lucas Simão tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gaston Le Flem got free with Benito Sanz in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 88th minute, Alan Moruga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Fierce supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Fierce would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
