Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Santos Ferdinand made the kick off and thus started the match. After having played for 4 minutes, Santos Ferdinand managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezia FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Santos Ferdinand was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Amado Larra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 6th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Felix Montenegro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Felix Montenegro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amado Larra breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 13th minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 15 played minutes Venezia FC got a freekick which was hit by Eriberto Eneto. Amado Larra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arturo Cordera hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Amado Larra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Andino in the 26th minute of the match. Santos Ferdinand in the 29thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Julio Vera, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 31st minute of play forced Venezia FC's goalkeeper Amado Larra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Agustín Saelices hit a great ball. Antonio Arias hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. The Ecuador fans' excitement grew in the 38th match minute when Ecuador's Daniel Zorita looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Santos Ferdinand fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Santos Ferdinand sent off a good shot on target. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. Amado Larra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Andino in the 51st minute of the match. Daniel Zorita came free with the goalkeeper in the 52nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Amado Larra could save by the left post. Felix Montenegro took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Amado Larra. Amado Larra dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 59th minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Daniel Zorita might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Amado Larra. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniel Zorita ran back to his position shaking his head. 66 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Amado Larra was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 70 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Amado Larra. Daniel Zorita showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. A hard shot 73 in the game by Daniel Zorita from a close distance when the talented Amado Larra managed to make a qualified save. Venezia FC's players were relieved. 76 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Amado Larra was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 1-5 became the score in the 82nd minute when Bernabe Cidro elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 86th play minute Cristian Sancho came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Amado Larra. 1-6. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Juan Sebastián Puig's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Amado Larra read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Amado Larra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Venezia FC.
