In the 10th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edelmiro Veronica saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edelmiro Veronica showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 13th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alberto Tafalla in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edelmiro Veronica prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rubén Montt received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dante Lacasa came out and tried to block the shot, but Rubén Montt slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 17th minute. In the 23rd minute Rubén Montt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 24 minutes into the match, ToCoTaN FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Edelmiro Veronica reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vic Wijnants got free with Dante Lacasa in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vic Wijnants, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. 29 minutes into the match, ToCoTaN FC's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Edelmiro Veronica reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 31st minute Simon Wallin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vic Wijnants could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save. Edelmiro Veronica took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luca Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edelmiro Veronica stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lautaro Mancebo's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. After 43 minutes, Humberto Distiratsu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ToCoTaN FC and the Mexico players grew even worse after the yellow card.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joel Gaona made a kick off. Lautaro Mancebo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 50th minute of the match, but Edelmiro Veronica made a huge save. In the 52nd minute, Mexico's Luca Zorita dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. 56 minutes into the match, Vic Wijnants had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dante Lacasa. Mexico's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vic Wijnants was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Edelmiro Veronica made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 59th minute of play. ToCoTaN FC's Edelmiro Veronica played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 62nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rubén Montt in the 63rd minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. ToCoTaN FC's Edelmiro Veronica proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save ToCoTaN FC from getting a goal against them. Lautaro Mancebo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew the final whistle, ToCoTaN FC could leave the field as winners, despite Mexico having more of the ball for most of the match.
