This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Pedro Manzanares as he didn't even see the shot coming. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kęstutis Latoža got free with Pedro Manzanares in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A sloppy throw-in by Dursun Soysal in the 13th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Colombia's Kevin Mastache. 23 minutes into the match, Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Danilevičius. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Danilevičius got free with Pedro Manzanares in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Axel Montenegro scored 2-1 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mustafa Kemal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Colombia from getting a goal against them. 38 minutes into the match, Santino Seco notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of FK Mintis Vilnius's Mustafa Kemal. Mustafa Kemal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Colombia from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 44th minute of play forced FK Mintis Vilnius's goalkeeper Mustafa Kemal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mustafa Kemal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. In the 47th minute, Axel Montenegro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Colombia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. After the first half Colombia were leading 2-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Danilevičius was the one to do the kick off. FK Mintis Vilnius's Tomas Danilevičius got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hubertas Dabkevičius received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Pedro Manzanares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hubertas Dabkevičius in the 59th minute of play. Colombia's Abram Secada was substituted for Axel Montenegro. Colombia's Ignacio Mastache was substituted for Abram Sarmiento. FK Mintis Vilnius's Mustafa Kemal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save FK Mintis Vilnius from getting a goal against them. Mustafa Kemal was out of position in the 78 minute of play, and Pascual Carballar capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Pascual Carballar really showed his touch with that goal: 4-4. Colombia's Abram Secada managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Dursun Soysal in the 84 minute of the game. In the 85th minute, Tomas Danilevičius ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pedro Manzanares was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-4. When İsrafil Yağız came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the FK Mintis Vilnius fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that İsrafil Yağız couldn't finish the play. When FK Mintis Vilnius's Tomas Danilevičius in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Colombia's goalie prevented a goal. In the 93rd minute Tomas Danilevičius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. İsrafil Yağız received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Pedro Manzanares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from İsrafil Yağız, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Colombia players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FK Mintis Vilnius.
