Natal Arrieta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eduardo Fontirroig, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Alexandro Boix fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camilo Freixa having to interfere. In the 16th minute Mercurio Caraballo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Camilo Freixa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 22 played minutes Laion Social Club got a freekick which was hit by Alexandro Boix. Mercurio Caraballo kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Natal Arrieta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eduardo Fontirroig in the 26th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mauro Otero in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Camilo Freixa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ruisko Remirez hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. After 36 minutes, Lidon Poz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Laion Social Club and the Bolivia players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Laion Social Club's Lidon Poz got a free kick in the 36th minute. After having played for 37 minutes, Mario Fernandino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bolivia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mario Fernandino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mercurio Caraballo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camilo Freixa having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mercurio Caraballo made a kick off. Derwin Bao was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 51 minutes into the match. Derwin Bao kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. After some careless play in the Laion Social Club defense, Mario Fernandino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Natal Arrieta. The Laion Social Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Natal Arrieta should have stopped the shot. Natal Arrieta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfonso de la Cruz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mero Trevijano kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Bolivia's Alejandro Villa got a free kick in the 69th minute. Mercurio Caraballo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Eduardo Fontirroig scored 2-0 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Natal Arrieta, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Laion Social Club's zone, Eduardo Fontirroig stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Natal Arrieta came out of the goal and Eduardo Fontirroig tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mero Trevijano's late challenge caught a Bolivia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mero Trevijano helped the player get up and apologised. Mero Trevijano hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. If Eduardo Fontirroig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 84th minute, Mario Fernandino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Natal Arrieta was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. A collision led to Laion Social Club getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Mercurio Caraballo hit a great ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Bolivia fully deserved thier win.
