Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Blas Urtungo started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. When Piara Lider fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Inter Miami CF's protests and gave Piara Lider a yellow card for diving instead. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan Raúl Riquelme in the 11th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 12th minute of play forced Inter Miami CF's goalkeeper Teo Pacorro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Teo Pacorro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Illescas's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. In the 17th minute Blas Urtungo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Amado Muc during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Amado Muc hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Juan Raúl Riquelme's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. Inter Miami CF were awarded a corner in the 28th minute after Venezuela's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Enzo Iago took the corner. The corner led Inter Miami CF's Enzo Iago to fire away a dangerous shot which Jonathan Ferrant despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Juan Raúl Riquelme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Astor Lertxun hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Joshua Secada kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 36th minute of play forced Inter Miami CF's goalkeeper Teo Pacorro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Inter Miami CF defense, Tomas Illescas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Teo Pacorro. The Inter Miami CF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Teo Pacorro should have stopped the shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Raúl Riquelme in the 40th minute of play. After 43 minutes of play, Inter Miami CF's Amado Muc made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 47 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Venegas. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Illescas was the one to do the kick off. When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Blas Urtungo put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Blas Urtungo, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. 63 minutes into the match, Inter Miami CF's Reynaldo Alonso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas got a free kick in the 72nd minute. 79 minutes into the game, Everardo Enmanuel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Inter Miami CF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Venezuela the free kick. A collision led to Inter Miami CF getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Everardo Enmanuel hit a great ball. After 80 played minutes Inter Miami CF got a freekick which was hit by Everardo Enmanuel. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Camilo Gaos got a free kick in the 85th minute. When Camilo Gaos fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Camilo Gaos a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Inter Miami CF booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Gaos didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Amado Muc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Inter Miami CF walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
