In the 3rd minute, Leon Messi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. ManagerZone Academy's Paolo Pereyra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 5th minute of play. In the 7th match minute, ManagerZone Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by La 李宁 to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, ManagerZone Academy's Paolo Pereyra got control of the ball when Lautaro Mancebo tried to sneak it across the goal line. 12 minutes had been played when some careless play by ManagerZone Academy's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. Luca Rouco made a great header on Mexico's corner, it was just that ManagerZone Academy's Paolo Pereyra managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 14th match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lautaro Mancebo to maneuver through the defense. Paolo Pereyra made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 18th minute. Joel Gaona recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 30th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paolo Pereyra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 30 minutes into the game, Joel Gaona cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Paolo Pereyra was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of ManagerZone Academy booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Tafalla didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joel Gaona was the one to do the kick off. ManagerZone Academy's Paolo Pereyra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luca Zorita in the 52nd minute of play. Paolo Pereyra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 53rd minute of the match. In the 54th match minute, ManagerZone Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amancio Ricart to maneuver through the defense. Macos Graciani kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Amancio Ricart recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Mexico booed when ManagerZone Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eloy Alvarez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lautaro Mancebo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Paolo Pereyra read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. Steve Hyuga was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 65th minute. ManagerZone Academy's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Steve Hyuga in the 67th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paolo Pereyra stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alberto Tafalla's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. After 70th play minutes Alberto Tafalla shot 3-0, a short shot which went by Paolo Pereyra and just under the crossbar into goal. 75 minutes into the match, ManagerZone Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Paolo Pereyra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 80th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paolo Pereyra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paolo Pereyra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 81st minute of play. If Joel Gaona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 86 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Luca Rouco. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Feliciano Mitxel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paolo Pereyra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luca Zorita in the 91st minute of the match. The supporters of Mexico booed when ManagerZone Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leon Messi didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Mexico fans cheered their team off the field, for while ManagerZone Academy had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
