The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. 史乐烨 helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of El Salvador booed when 上海奉贤特工俱乐部 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. 史乐烨 didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Moises Fernandino managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Salvador's supporters rose to their feet, but Moises Fernandino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. 郑磊剑 breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when 贺霆永 stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ricardo Zorita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 贺霆永 in the 53rd minute of the match. 温棋傲 scored 1-0 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ricardo Zorita, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers 贺霆永 in the 96th managed to get into a good position.
