Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Alexander Carballo got a free kick in the 4th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arturo Rolado in the 7th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 11th minute Arturo Rolado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Lautaro Puig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 24th minute, Leandro Gasteiz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Lautaro Puig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberto Sarracino having to interfere. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arturo Rolado in the 34th minute of play. Axel Tasis might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alberto Sarracino. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Axel Tasis ran back to his position shaking his head. Efrain Moruga hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aquiles Gerazan in the 44th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leandro Gasteiz made a kick off. In the 51st minute Axel Tasis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alberto Sarracino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arturo Rolado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arturo Rolado struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Benito Sanz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Beltrán City FC. Leandro Gasteiz might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benito Sanz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Leandro Gasteiz ran back to his position shaking his head. Efrain Moruga made in the 71st minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Aaron Alcocer however managed to control. In the 72nd minute, Teofilo Joachim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Axel Tasis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alberto Sarracino read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. Aquiles Gerazan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. After 79 minutes of play, Beltrán City FC's Leandro Gasteiz made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Alberto Sarracino came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Costa Rica's Axel Tasis. But to his dismay, Axel Tasis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. In the 86th minute of the match, Leandro Gasteiz got a very nice opportunity to score, but Benito Sanz was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 88th minute, Arturo Rolado reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Benito Sanz. The goal made the score 1-5. Alberto Sarracino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Puig in the 94th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Beltrán City FC's zone, Axel Tasis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alberto Sarracino came out of the goal and Axel Tasis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match was over Beltrán City FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Costa Rica throughout the match.
