Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tomas Illescas kicked off to start the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Illescas in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedro Eudoxio saved Temperley from getting behind. In the 8th minute, Leopoldo Quintan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pedro Eudoxio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pedro Eudoxio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Costa in the 13th minute of the match. Venezuela were awarded a corner in the 14th minute after Temperley's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tomas Illescas took the corner. In the 17th minute, Ildefonso Richie got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 20th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Eudoxio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Pedro Eudoxio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant was a little too slow when Ildefonso Richie got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 23rd minute. The score was now 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kaapo Mastropiero in the 28th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pedro Eudoxio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pedro Eudoxio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Costa in the 31st minute of the match. After having played for 35 minutes, Kaapo Mastropiero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Temperley's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kaapo Mastropiero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. Temperley were awarded a corner in the 41th minute after Venezuela's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Kaapo Mastropiero took the corner. The referee felt a red card was in order, 43 minutes into the game, when Ramon Bittor put in a rough tackle. In the 43rd minute, Ramon Bittor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

54 minutes into the match, Temperley's goalkeeper Pedro Eudoxio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Illescas. Temperley's Rodolfo Walme was substituted for Godfredo Sugoi. Venezuela's Jose Correa managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Nereo Medero in the 60 minute of the game. 61 minutes in the game Rodolfo Walme did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Ildefonso Richie. In the 63rd minute Kaapo Mastropiero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Illescas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Eudoxio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Temperley's Pedro Eudoxio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Temperley from getting a goal against them. 70 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Ildefonso Richie came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 71 minutes into the game, Nereo Medero was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Temperley's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Venezuela the free kick. A collision led to Temperley getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Nereo Medero hit a great ball. Nereo Medero kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ildefonso Richie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kaapo Mastropiero, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ildefonso Richie in the 93rd minute of play. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
