Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Tomas Illescas made the kick off and thus started the match. Through an outstanding action, after 16 minutes, Jonathan Ferrant successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Baltasar Lastur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patricio Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Tomas Illescas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Baltasar Lastur was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Rogelio Aimar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Rogelio Aimar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rogelio Aimar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rogelio Aimar in the 25th minute. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Rogelio Aimar sent off a good shot on target. Rogelio Aimar scored 4-0 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Arturo Loramendi tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tomas Illescas during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The Venezuela fans' excitement grew in the 42nd match minute when Venezuela's Tomas Illescas looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rogelio Aimar made a kick off. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arturo Loramendi in the 51st minute of play. In the 55th minute, Rogelio Aimar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-2. Roja Directa's Arturo Loramendi got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 65th minute, Domingos Alfonso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Roja Directa made a substitution. Silvano Cutberto replaced Rogelio Aimar. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Baltasar Lastur prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Silvano Cutberto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jonathan Venegas during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 89th minute, Jonathan Venegas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 92nd minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baltasar Lastur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Baltasar Lastur made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Roja Directa had played much better football throughout.
