Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) 4 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Águilas Poblanas's Matias Eder. Matias Eder was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Matias Eder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Andino in the 8th minute of the match. After 15 minutes of play, Ecuador's Luis Andino made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Matias Eder was left in no man's land by his defense there! Daniel Zorita made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that Águilas Poblanas's Matias Eder managed to reach the ball for a save. Cristian Sancho scored 0-3 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Matias Eder, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Matias Eder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Montenegro in the 34th minute of play. Matias Eder took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nemesio Serafo kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Luis Andino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. In the 43rd minute, Daniel Zorita made a precise shot to the right of Matias Eder. Águilas Poblanas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. In the 46th minute, Justo Sagrario hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Águilas Poblanas players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 0-4.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. Elpidio Chayo's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Elpidio Chayo helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Águilas Poblanas getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Elpidio Chayo hit a great ball. 53 minutes into the match, Águilas Poblanas's goalkeeper Matias Eder had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luis Andino. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 56thth minute of the game Justo Sagrario who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Águilas Poblanas were awarded a corner in the 58th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Roberto Mateus took the corner. The corner ended in Roberto Mateus almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ecuador's Julio Vera did a great save. After having played for 60 minutes, Cayetano Remir managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Águilas Poblanas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cayetano Remir was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Justo Sagrario in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 63 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Roberto Mateus who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Águilas Poblanas's corner Roberto Mateus fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Julio Vera quite easily take care of the ball. Cristian Sancho took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Matias Eder. Matias Eder dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. After 76 played minutes Águilas Poblanas got a freekick which was hit by Elpidio Chayo. 77 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Matias Eder was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Martin Ubarna's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Martin Ubarna helped the player get up and apologised. After 80 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Águilas Poblanas! In the 87th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. Daniel Zorita made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that Águilas Poblanas's Matias Eder managed to reach the ball for a save. Matias Eder was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cristian Sancho showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-8 in the 90 minute of play. 93 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Matias Eder, 0-9.
