In the 15th match minute, Águilas Poblanas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eusebio Beltran to maneuver through the defense. Alexandros Ismael showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 16th minute of the match. Luca Zorita scored 0-1 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alexandros Ismael, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Eusebio Beltran hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Alexandros Ismael made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 23rd minute of play. Alexandros Ismael showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Alexandros Ismael took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carlo Ciolli might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dante Lacasa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Carlo Ciolli ran back to his position shaking his head. Alexandros Ismael made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 55th minute of play. Alexandros Ismael made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luca Zorita in the 58th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Lautaro Mancebo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Lautaro Mancebo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alexandros Ismael breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Águilas Poblanas's Iker Urti was substituted for Ciro Matai. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Lorenzo Cazalla hit a great ball. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Virgilio Txindoki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cengiz Canalp hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Alexandros Ismael was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Joel Gaona. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 89th minute of play forced Águilas Poblanas's goalkeeper Alexandros Ismael to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Águilas Poblanas getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Cengiz Canalp hit a great ball. The Águilas Poblanas supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Mexico's performance. The match ended with a win for Mexico.
