In the 8th minute, Mariano Lacasa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alfredinho Cavalcante showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 12th minute of the match. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tana Rede, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A throw-in in the 18th minute of the game was made by Laerte Soeiro with Emerson Velasco as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tana Rede in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thiago Pliego saved Chile from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 23rd minute of play forced Granadero10's goalkeeper Alfredinho Cavalcante to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alfredinho Cavalcante showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Guillermo Fontirroig managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chile's supporters rose to their feet, but Guillermo Fontirroig was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfredinho Cavalcante breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fredrik Masculier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Thiago Pliego tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Tana Rede made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Granadero10's Alfredinho Cavalcante got control of the ball when Mariano Lacasa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Orlando Casaus hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tana Rede in the 61st minute of the match. When Vítor Antunes fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Granadero10's protests and gave Vítor Antunes a yellow card for diving instead. Vítor Antunes kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Mariano Lacasa took a quick shot and it went in 0-1 without a chance for Alfredinho Cavalcante to make any attempt to save it. Granadero10's Alfredinho Cavalcante played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orlando Casaus in the 70th minute of play. In the 71st minute, Chile's Mariano Lacasa ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Alfredinho Cavalcante. Alfredinho Cavalcante yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. Alfredinho Cavalcante was a little too slow when Mariano Lacasa got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 75th minute. The score was now 0-3. Granadero10's Erick Cavero was substituted for Laerte Soeiro. 80 minutes into the match, Granadero10's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Alfredinho Cavalcante reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Mariano Lacasa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chile's supporters rose to their feet, but Mariano Lacasa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfredinho Cavalcante breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alfredinho Cavalcante made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 86th minute. The audience was convinced that Mariano Lacasa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alfredinho Cavalcante was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. The supporters of Chile booed when Granadero10 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tana Rede didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mariano Lacasa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alfredinho Cavalcante having to make a save. Alfredinho Cavalcante made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Mariano Lacasa sent off a good shot on target.
