Diamantino Arruda was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Diamantino Arruda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berganza in the 13th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Panama's Alex Cambeiro got a free kick in the 15th minute. The supporters of Panama booed when Sosoco FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Guilherme Carvalho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enio Azevedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. After 21 minutes, Luís Guilherme Carvalho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sosoco FC and the Panama players grew even worse after the yellow card. Luís Guilherme Carvalho hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. In the 38th minute of the match Panama got a corner. Sosoco FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Abraham Alguacil ran over to the corner to take the kick. Panama's Abraham Alguacil was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Diamantino Arruda in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Sosoco FC's Diamantino Arruda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Berganza in the 42nd minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, Panama's Tomas Berganza sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Diamantino Arruda narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Abraham Alguacil kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Diamantino Arruda. That made the score 2-0 in the 47 minute of play.

Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enio Azevedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Diamantino Arruda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Berganza in the 57th minute of the match. Sosoco FC's Lúcio Mattos was substituted for Dorian Linares. Sosoco FC made a substitution. Giuseppe Barreto replaced Edmílson Veloso. After a rather tough play, Sosoco FC's Lúcio Mattos got a free kick in the 65th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enio Azevedo in the 67th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Sosoco FC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Oscar Castro hit a great ball. 71 minutes into the match, Sosoco FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Berganza came free, but Diamantino Arruda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 78th minute, Tomas Berganza left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Panama fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. In the 82nd minute, Luís Guilherme Carvalho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcos Cotilla was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Enio Azevedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Enio Azevedo kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. In the 90th minute, Felipe Ros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enio Azevedo in the 94th minute of play. Tomas Berganza hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match.
