Venezuela:s Jonathan Ferrant showed great skill when he stopped Aquiles Chorache:s penalty. 13 minutes into the match, Aquiles Chorache had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aquiles Chorache was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alejo Meder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 20th minute of play. Tomas Illescas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alejo Meder having to make a save. Patricio Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alejo Meder came out of the goal and Patricio Costa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 47 minutes into the match, KяαdivÄch3 FC's Aquiles Chorache sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aquiles Chorache stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes, Jonathan Venegas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the KяαdivÄch3 FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rigoberto Mina hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. When the referee blew the final whistle, KяαdivÄch3 FC could leave the field as winners, despite Venezuela having more of the ball for most of the match.
