Frisia AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Honduras the free kick. A collision led to Frisia AFC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Leon Videl hit a great ball. Moises Tafalla's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Santos Vigil read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. Santos Vigil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 29th minute of the match. Emanuel Ocampo kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernan Gurutz in the 35th minute of play. In the 36th minute Luciano Sadurni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Santos Vigil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 41st minute of play. Lautaro Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernan Gurutz, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Honduras's zone, Ricardo Endura stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lautaro Navarro came out of the goal and Ricardo Endura tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Honduras's Edmundo Espiga got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luciano Sadurni to strike the kick off in the second half. Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luciano Sadurni in the 53rd minute of play. Luca Espinar kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Frisia AFC's Abel Txatxu was substituted for Americo Matia. Santos Vigil didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edmundo Espiga went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luciano Sadurni in the 65th minute of the match. 67 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Luciano Sadurni came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 68th minute of play forced Frisia AFC's goalkeeper Santos Vigil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Santos Vigil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmundo Espiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
