Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Joel Gaona got the match started through his kick off. 6 minutes into the match, Cuero Ibañez dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Dante Lacasa, 1-0. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cuero Ibañez in the 13th minute of the match. Cristinel Iosub hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. In the 17th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olavo Velloso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Olavo Velloso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Mancebo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cuero Ibañez in the 35th minute of play. In the 42nd minute, Aguinaga Casasola hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Olavo Velloso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Leandro Bartoli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leandro Bartoli stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Mexico booed when Revolución Joao FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristinel Iosub didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joel Gaona was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 52nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Revolución Joao FC's Benjamin Kielland got a free kick in the 56th minute. In the 56th minute, one of Revolución Joao FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Revolución Joao FC. Olavo Velloso went to the wrong direction when Joel Gaona was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Olavo Velloso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 59th minute of the match. Olavo Velloso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 64th minute of play. In the 66th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olavo Velloso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 67 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Leandro Bartoli came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner led Revolución Joao FC's Geronimo Abilio to fire away a dangerous shot which Dante Lacasa despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Cristinel Iosub managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gavril Stoican scored 2-2 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dante Lacasa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
