Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) A. Korn's Ruben Salvator started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 16 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ubaldo Matildo Fillol narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Korn's Aristides Celino got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ruben Salvator in the 24th minute of the match. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramon Diaz, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Ramon Diaz's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 31stth minute, Julio Vera skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ubaldo Matildo Fillol having to interfere. Ramon Diaz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. 36 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Ubaldo Matildo Fillol was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 38th minute Agustín Saelices shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ubaldo Matildo Fillol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 40th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ubaldo Matildo Fillol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cornel Vulpe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. Agustín Saelices received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Ubaldo Matildo Fillol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zbigniew Fedosz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. In the 64th minute, Juan Sebastián Puig hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 65 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Ramon Diaz came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, A. Korn's Zbigniew Fedosz got a free kick in the 65th minute. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Julio Vera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ramon Diaz went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. 72 minutes into the match, A. Korn's goalkeeper Ubaldo Matildo Fillol had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Ubaldo Matildo Fillol made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind A. Korn's goalkeeper Ubaldo Matildo Fillol, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ubaldo Matildo Fillol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 95 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Ruben Salvator came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alvaro Urtsin during the 97th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in A. Korn fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 97th minute. Penalty! Ubaldo Matildo Fillol had in the 100thth minute some difficulties stopping Daniel Zorita's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Many of Ecuador's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Ecuador may have spent more time on the ball, but A. Korn were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
