Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Mexico's Joel Gaona started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Joel Gaona managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Joel Gaona was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hugo Gatti breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alberto Tafalla got free with Hugo Gatti in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 19th minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Luca Zorita managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 22 minutes into the match, Lautaro Mancebo notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of SPEGACHO FC's Hugo Gatti. Hugo Gatti was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Babu Bronco took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. A collision led to SPEGACHO FC getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Ladislao Tallia hit a great ball. If Lautaro Mancebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 33rd minute of the match, Lautaro Mancebo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Hugo Gatti was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When Alberto Tafalla came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alberto Tafalla couldn't finish the play. SPEGACHO FC's Hugo Gatti proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save SPEGACHO FC from getting a goal against them. Hugo Gatti made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 42nd minute. Hugo Gatti made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Alberto Tafalla sent off a good shot on target. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Babu Bronco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Babu Bronco came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Alberto Tafalla came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alberto Tafalla couldn't finish the play. Isaac Montrel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 69 minutes into the match, Joel Gaona notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of SPEGACHO FC's Hugo Gatti. Hugo Gatti was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lautaro Mancebo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Hugo Gatti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, SPEGACHO FC's Clemente Ieltxu got a free kick in the 81st minute. SPEGACHO FC's Hugo Gatti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 83rd minute of play. Hugo Gatti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Mancebo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 94 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Mexico! In the 95th minute there was a penalty for SPEGACHO FC. Babu Bronco stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Dante Lacasa. 3-2.
