After 11 minutes Ripa FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luz Tejedor who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Luz Tejedor almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ripa FC's Aldo Mannie did a great save. Luz Tejedor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Julian Murillo in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aldo Mannie prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Peru booed when Ripa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Magnus Löfdahl didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 17th minute Moises Gayoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aldo Mannie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aldo Mannie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Moises Gayoso, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. 17 minutes into the match, Moises Gayoso notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Ripa FC's Aldo Mannie. Aldo Mannie was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rolando Noboa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ripa FC. After 38 played minutes Ripa FC got a freekick which was hit by Smith Wigglesworth. In the 39th minute, Smith Wigglesworth hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 42nd minute Peru were awarded a corner. Luz Tejedor went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Peru's corner Julian Murillo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Aldo Mannie quite easily take care of the ball. In the 42ndth minute of the game Julian Murillo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ripa FC's Aldo Mannie was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Aldo Mannie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luz Tejedor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Ripa FC's Joel Tehas was substituted for Ricardo Bochini. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gu Chang Peng to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Julian Murillo got free with Aldo Mannie in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 56 minutes into the game, Placido Pero was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ripa FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Peru the free kick. In the 56th match minute, Ripa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Placido Pero to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Ripa FC's Aldo Mannie got control of the ball when Luz Tejedor tried to sneak it across the goal line. 63 minutes into the match, Ripa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Aldo Mannie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julian Murillo kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 67thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Ripa FC's keeper Aldo Mannie was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Ripa FC's Aldo Mannie proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Ripa FC from getting a goal against them. Aldo Mannie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 74th minute of the match. In the 77th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aldo Mannie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Prospero Tomi in the 78th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Peru's Eliseo Mina. Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. Ripa FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Smith Wigglesworth in the 85th minute. A collision led to Peru getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Emmanuel Reyes hit a great ball. Gu Chang Peng blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rolando Noboa having to make a save. With his leg Aldo Mannie managed to avoid a goal in the 95thth minute, when Peru's Rafael Gallo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When the final whistle sounded Peru left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Ripa FC.
