Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) In the 9th match minute, Temperley was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iker Llorienzo to maneuver through the defense. 17 minutes into the match, Temperley's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Montenegro came free, but Niceto Illan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Niceto Illan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 19th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Niceto Illan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 28th minute, Nereo Medero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Niceto Illan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Daniel Zorita left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Temperley's Niceto Illan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 41st minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Temperley's Niceto Illan. Niceto Illan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an all-out effort, Ecuador's Niceto Illan threw himself towards the right post 53 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Luis Andino, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 53 minutes into the game, Luis Andino recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Niceto Illan. Luis Andino showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Niceto Illan made a huge save. After 59 minutes of play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Niceto Illan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Temperley's Kaapo Mastropiero was substituted for Gilberto Illart. Temperley's Ildefonso Richie was substituted for Gualterio Lopez. In the 66th minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Temperley's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Niceto Illan came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Felix Montenegro in the 72ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Niceto Illan, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The corner led to Ecuador's Luis Andino getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Daniel Zorita made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that Temperley's Niceto Illan managed to reach the ball for a save. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 80th minute. A well done corner resulted in Juan Sebastián Puig drilling the ball in to score 0-6 behind Temperley's goalkeeper. Iker Llorienzo kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Niceto Illan made a huge save. Candido Tonete received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Temperley throughout the match.
