After 8 minutes of play, La Acade's Kip William made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedro Manzanares was left in no man's land by his defense there! La Acade's Kip William got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Axel Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 14 minutes into the match, Alejandro Vistruario notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Colombia's Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 17th minute Abram Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Blas Aritza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abram Sarmiento scored 1-2 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Blas Aritza, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Kevin Mastache had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Kevin Mastache's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Blas Aritza read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. Kevin Mastache sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 32nd minute Kip William shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osvaldo Cantero in the 36th minute of play. In the 39th minute Alejandro Vistruario shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Axel Montenegro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Blas Aritza made a huge save. Blas Aritza stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Axel Montenegro's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. If Kevin Mastache had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 45th match minute, La Acade was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kip William to maneuver through the defense. In the 47th minute Colombia were awarded a corner. Axel Montenegro went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Colombia's Pascual Carballar to a score. 2-3 in the 48th minute. The Colombia players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. La Acade were winning 2-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kip William stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonard Lamczyk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Osvaldo Cantero got free with Pedro Manzanares in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 60th minute of the match La Acade got a corner. Colombia's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Teófilo Amaro ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in David Abaurre almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Colombia's Pedro Manzanares did a great save. In the 62nd minute, Axel Montenegro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Colombia's Axel Montenegro in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abram Secada in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Blas Aritza saved La Acade from getting behind. In the 93rd minute, Abram Secada got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 95 played minutes La Acade got a freekick which was hit by Niceto Peli. Blas Aritza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santino Seco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
