Algot Sundin started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Faustino Luar came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 8 minutes into the game, Joel Gaona cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Venancio Geleberto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 12th match minute, Los Del Kllejon FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Siegfried Knubel to maneuver through the defense. Lautaro Mancebo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Venancio Geleberto having to interfere. 15 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Faustino Luar came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Los Del Kllejon FC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Faustino Luar hit a great ball. Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 22 minutes into the match, Los Del Kllejon FC's goalkeeper Venancio Geleberto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alberto Tafalla. In the 29th minute Siegfried Knubel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 31st minute, Algot Sundin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dante Lacasa was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Los Del Kllejon FC's Venancio Geleberto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Facundo Cadaval in the 34th minute of play. In the 35th minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it. Facundo Cadaval fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Venancio Geleberto having to interfere. When Los Del Kllejon FC's Algot Sundin, in the 44th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Los Del Kllejon FC. After 46 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Luca Zorita. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Los Del Kllejon FC's Romeo Eleder was substituted for Faustino Luar. Los Del Kllejon FC's Adrian Lopez was substituted for Samuel Toli. The wind increased when Joel Gaona made the kick off in the second half. Venancio Geleberto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luca Zorita in the 54th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 56th minute of play forced Los Del Kllejon FC's goalkeeper Venancio Geleberto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 57th minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Mexico's Alberto Tafalla to a score. 2-1 in the 57th minute. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Algot Sundin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 63rd minute of play forced Los Del Kllejon FC's goalkeeper Venancio Geleberto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Romeo Eleder's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Dante Lacasa firmly grabbed it by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 70th minute of play forced Los Del Kllejon FC's goalkeeper Venancio Geleberto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lautaro Mancebo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Venancio Geleberto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lautaro Mancebo couldn't finish the play. After 91 minutes, Felix Luque mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mexico and the Los Del Kllejon FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 91st minute, Felix Luque hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Venancio Geleberto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 94th minute of the match. Siegfried Knubel hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Mexico were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Los Del Kllejon FC for a fine match.
