Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Abram Sarmiento started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 7th minute, Matungo Gaúcho's Josué Pinheiro ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. If Axel Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 10th minute Axel Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ademir Baptista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 12th minute, Axel Montenegro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ademir Baptista was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Through an outstanding action, after 15 minutes, Pedro Manzanares successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Josué Pinheiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Pedro Manzanares made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Celedonio Florinio got free with Pedro Manzanares in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Axel Montenegro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Ademir Baptista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santino Seco in the 22nd minute of play forced Matungo Gaúcho's goalkeeper Ademir Baptista to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Axel Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Marcinho Sena could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Pedro Manzanares made a huge save. Santino Seco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Ademir Baptista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Juan Simon hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. After having played for 32 minutes, Axel Montenegro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Colombia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Axel Montenegro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 38th minute of play forced Matungo Gaúcho's goalkeeper Ademir Baptista to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Matungo Gaúcho's Frank Cromefeldt got a free kick in the 40th minute. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilmar Borges in the 46th minute of the match. 47 minutes into the game, Henk van Putten threw the ball into play from the sideline. Colombia's Antonio Indiano quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Josué Pinheiro made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Matungo Gaúcho's Ademir Baptista got control of the ball when Axel Montenegro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ademir Baptista came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Colombia's Joshua Garrido. But to his dismay, Joshua Garrido quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilmar Borges, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Celedonio Florinio took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. A throw-in in the 76th minute of the game was made by Gilmar Borges with 龙森景 as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Josué Pinheiro in the 77th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Josué Pinheiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Matungo Gaúcho's supporters rose to their feet, but Josué Pinheiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Manzanares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 96 minutes into the match, Matungo Gaúcho's goalkeeper Ademir Baptista had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ignacio Mastache. Ademir Baptista showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ignacio Mastache, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. Colombia succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Matungo Gaúcho had controlled the match.
