Luis Andino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of 0Fubar You booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis Andino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Marques, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Logan Carr showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 32nd minute of the match. Daniel Watson hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. If Luis Andino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustín Saelices in the 45th minute of play forced 0Fubar You's goalkeeper Logan Carr to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 48th minute after 0Fubar You's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. The corner ended in Daniel Zorita almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but 0Fubar You's Logan Carr did a great save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
