In the 22ndth minute of the game Olando Abancens who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas came free and shot a quick shot against goal 23 minutes in the game, fortunately Hugo Endira had problems saving as it came toward the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olando Abancens in the 28th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hugo Endira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Costa in the 29th minute of the match. In the 30th minute of the match Venezuela got a corner. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Timur Thieße managed to get in a good position for a shot. The KinG's supporters rose to their feet, but Timur Thieße was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hugo Endira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patricio Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Olando Abancens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 38 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Timur Thieße came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. But to his dismay, Timur Thieße quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

With an all-out effort, The KinG's Jonathan Ferrant threw himself towards the right post 61 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Olando Abancens, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. 67 minutes into the game, Olando Abancens recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. Olando Abancens showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Timur Thieße got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hugo Endira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
