Generoso Koldobika made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Eduardo Fontirroig sent off a good shot on target. Generoso Koldobika didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alfonso de la Cruz went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. 37 minutes into the match, The Old Boys's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredo Ferrant came free, but Generoso Koldobika reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eduardo Fontirroig scored 5-0 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Generoso Koldobika, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 41 played minutes Bolivia got a freekick which was hit by Julio Chicote. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
