Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Joel Gaona was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nicolae Ceaușescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Artur Vander got free with Dante Lacasa in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 13th minute 胡峰阳 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Master Champion BMX Flat's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Aarne Mikkola in the 14th minute. The corner led Master Champion BMX Flat's Aarne Mikkola to fire away a dangerous shot which Dante Lacasa despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Alberto Tafalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 21st minute of play forced Master Champion BMX Flat's goalkeeper Nicolae Ceaușescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 33rd minute, Facundo Cadaval left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mexico fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. If 胡峰阳 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. In the 66th minute, Master Champion BMX Flat's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Lautaro Mancebo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Alberto Tafalla was extremely unlucky when he, in the 74th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After taking down the ball on Mexico's corner Joel Gaona fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Nicolae Ceaușescu quite easily take care of the ball. Lautaro Mancebo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicolae Ceaușescu having to interfere. In the 88th match minute, Master Champion BMX Flat was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Perivaldo Aparecido to maneuver through the defense. Joel Gaona's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nicolae Ceaușescu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. In the 92nd minute Matei Corona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
