Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) 5 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sebastian Zogreanu. Muget's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristian Sancho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. With an all-out effort, Muget's Julio Vera threw himself towards the right post 9 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Nistor Beșliu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Sebastian Zogreanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Muget's Sebastian Zogreanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 12th minute of play. 14 minutes into the match, Muget's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Montenegro came free, but Sebastian Zogreanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 15th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Montenegro to maneuver through the defense. Julio Vera acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 16th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Liviu Carabulea. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Muget's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sebastian Zogreanu came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Muget's Sebastian Zogreanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agustín Saelices in the 23rd minute of play. Sebastian Zogreanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. 34 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Muget's Sebastian Zogreanu. Sebastian Zogreanu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 38th minute, Cristian Sancho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. 41 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sebastian Zogreanu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastian Zogreanu having to interfere. The Muget players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 0-3.

Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after Muget's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. A very nice done corner allowed Cristian Sancho to score against Sebastian Zogreanu in Muget's goal. 0-4 after 53 minutes. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Muget defense, Cristian Sancho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sebastian Zogreanu. The Muget fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sebastian Zogreanu should have stopped the shot. After 64 played minutes Muget got a freekick which was hit by Costică Alb. Daniel Zorita scored 0-6 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sebastian Zogreanu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 73 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Irinel Oros charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Irinel Oros the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Muget getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Irinel Oros hit a great ball. Daniel Zorita took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sebastian Zogreanu. Sebastian Zogreanu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7. In the 82nd minute, Felix Montenegro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-8. Sebastian Zogreanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sebastian Zogreanu was a little too slow when Agustín Saelices got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 89th minute. The score was now 0-9. Irinel Oros kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. In the 96th minute, Luis Andino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
