Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Gonzalo Errando took the kick off in the first half of the match. Ubaldo Fillol came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Alberto Tafalla. But to his dismay, Alberto Tafalla quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Ubaldo Fillol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Alberto Tafalla came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alberto Tafalla couldn't finish the play. Dante Lacasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gonzalo Errando in the 16th minute. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Luca Rouco hit a great ball. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Filial Los Canarios's goalkeeper Ubaldo Fillol, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 27th match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Facundo Cadaval to maneuver through the defense. Ubaldo Fillol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 36th minute of play forced Filial Los Canarios's goalkeeper Ubaldo Fillol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joel Gaona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Ubaldo Fillol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Filial Los Canarios players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Mexico were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joel Gaona was the one to do the kick off. Ubaldo Fillol made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 51st minute. Ubaldo Fillol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 53rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Mancebo got free with Ubaldo Fillol in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Through an outstanding action, after 58 minutes, Ubaldo Fillol successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a rather tough play, Filial Los Canarios's Teodoro Ugartondo got a free kick in the 59th minute. The throw-in from Amado Ricart in the 61st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo. 62 minutes into the match, Filial Los Canarios's goalkeeper Ubaldo Fillol had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joel Gaona. If Lautaro Mancebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 72 minutes into the game, Joel Gaona cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Ubaldo Fillol was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lautaro Mancebo came free with the goalkeeper in the 77th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ubaldo Fillol could save by the left post. Ubaldo Fillol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luca Zorita in the 81st minute of play. In the 82nd minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it. Mexico's Joel Gaona was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ubaldo Fillol in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Ubaldo Fillol made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Lautaro Mancebo sent off a good shot on target. After 90 minutes Filial Los Canarios's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joel Gaona who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Alberto Tafalla managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 93 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Toralf Walther came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Filial Los Canarios's Ubaldo Fillol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 94th minute of play. If Alberto Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Mexico players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
