Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tomas Illescas kicked off to start the match. After 4 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Alex Chicote. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yu Yang Sang in the 5th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fábio da Cunha in the 9th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 11th minute Éder Madureira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Serafim Barros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Éder Madureira in the 21st minute of play. In the 23rd minute of the match, Tomas Illescas got a very nice opportunity to score, but Benedito Trigo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Illescas got free with Benedito Trigo in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Éder Madureira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Serafim Barros in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 34th minute Benê Hoffmann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Éder Madureira, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Joshua Secada came free in the 39th minute and tried to tip the ball over Benedito Trigo, but to the joy of Sagarana Clube's supporters the ball went over. Alex Chicote charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alex Chicote the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 46 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Alex Chicote. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 52nd minute, Patricio Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 54th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benedito Trigo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 56th minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Sagarana Clube defense, Tomas Illescas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benedito Trigo. The Sagarana Clube fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benedito Trigo should have stopped the shot. After 71 played minutes Sagarana Clube got a freekick which was hit by Rupert Dearden. Sagarana Clube's Fabrício de Alcântara was substituted for Zé Roberto da Costa. Sagarana Clube's Bruno Salles was substituted for Éder Madureira. Rupert Dearden kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Bruno Salles hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Sagarana Clube's Yu Yang Sang got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Sagarana Clube getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Wilson Valladares hit a great ball. In the 77th minute Patricio Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benedito Trigo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 79th minute Venezuela were awarded a corner. Tomas Illescas went to the cornerflag to take it. The Venezuela fans' excitement grew in the 79th match minute when Venezuela's Salvador Gisbert looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Rupert Dearden hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. 84 minutes into the match, Bruno Salles notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Venezuela's defense didn't have a chance, in the 87th minute, when Serafim Barros scored to the left of an out of position Jonathan Ferrant, making the score, 2-4. 90 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Bruno Salles came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sagarana Clube played a much better game than Venezuela and deserved their victory. The Venezuela players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
