Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Yu Yang Sang took the kick off in the first half of the match. 5 minutes into the match, Sagarana Clube's goalkeeper Benedito Trigo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. Benedito Trigo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cristian Sancho showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 5 minute of play. Benedito Trigo made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Benedito Trigo in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 18 minutes had been played when some careless play by Sagarana Clube's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. Benedito Trigo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 19th minute. Serafim Barros kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yu Yang Sang in the 26th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 27 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Sagarana Clube's Benedito Trigo. Benedito Trigo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Benedito Trigo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Beto Heidemann took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 32nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Julio Vera. Ecuador's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Beto Heidemann came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Sagarana Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Beto Heidemann couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Sagarana Clube's Benedito Trigo got control of the ball when Felix Montenegro tried to sneak it across the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, Sagarana Clube's goalkeeper Benedito Trigo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. Daniel Zorita came free with the goalkeeper in the 48th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Benedito Trigo could save by the left post. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. Beto Heidemann kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. In the 52nd minute, Daniel Zorita made a precise shot to the right of Benedito Trigo. Sagarana Clube's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Yu Yang Sang got in the 58th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Julio Vera handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. In the 59th minute Felix Montenegro suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Ecuador's Diego Mancebo was substituted for Felix Montenegro. In the 60th minute, Beto Heidemann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benedito Trigo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristian Sancho's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. Benedito Trigo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 63rd minute of play. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sagarana Clube's Fabrício de Alcântara was substituted for Zé Roberto da Costa. In the 76thth minute of the game Cristian Sancho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sagarana Clube's Benedito Trigo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sagarana Clube's Benedito Trigo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 77th minute of play. In the 82nd minute, Luis Andino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benedito Trigo was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruno Salles, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. With 91 minutes on the clock, Camilo Gisbert commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Sagarana Clube's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Serafim Barros in the 94th minute. The corner led Sagarana Clube's Serafim Barros to fire away a dangerous shot which Julio Vera despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Bruno Salles sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Ecuador had won after a very even match.
