Atlético Capixaba's Wiliam Perez got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee felt a red card was in order, 29 minutes into the game, when Douglas Medeiros put in a rough tackle. Atlético Capixaba's Peder Ferro was substituted for Cauan Botelho. Atlético Capixaba:s Charles de Brito showed great skill when he stopped Jaime Pardo:s penalty. After a defensive mix-up in Paraguay's zone, Shi Tian Kuan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacobo Nores came out of the goal and Shi Tian Kuan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wiliam Perez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacobo Nores having to interfere. Charles de Brito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaime Pardo in the 40th minute of the match. In the 42nd minute, Shi Tian Kuan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Xavier Zoido during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Paraguay getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Xavier Zoido hit a great ball. Jacobo Nores took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wiliam Perez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wiliam Perez to make the kick off. When Atlético Capixaba's Wiliam Perez in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Atlético Capixaba's Otto Fesik was substituted for Wiliam Perez. Jacobo Nores took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Otto Fesik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 0-5 became the score in the 68th minute when Otto Fesik elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 71 minutes into the match, Atlético Capixaba's Otto Fesik sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jacobo Nores narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 73 minutes into the game, Otto Fesik cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Jacobo Nores was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Fu Jun Feng received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Jacobo Nores tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Otto Fesik in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jacobo Nores prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 82nd minute of the match Atlético Capixaba got a corner. Paraguay's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Faustão Sá ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Atlético Capixaba's Otto Fesik to fire away a dangerous shot which Jacobo Nores despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Otto Fesik struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Jacobo Nores didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atlético Capixaba. Jacobo Nores didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Otto Fesik went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. In the 96th minute, Otto Fesik fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The Paraguay fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Atlético Capixaba were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
