Master Champion BMX Flat's supporters rose to their feet, but Tobiasz Rostow was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thiago Pliego breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Francisco Carballar kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. The supporters of Chile booed when Master Champion BMX Flat was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iqbal Faturrahman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nicolae Ceaușescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 16th minute of the match. Mariano Lacasa ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 40th minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolae Ceaușescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The throw-in from Jose Manzanedo in the 42nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Master Champion BMX Flat's Artur Vander. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tobiasz Rostow to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Chile's Jose Manzanedo got a free kick in the 51st minute. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nicolae Ceaușescu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. Mariano Lacasa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tobiasz Rostow blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Thiago Pliego having to make a save. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tobiasz Rostow, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Mariano Lacasa kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. In the 96th minute, Chile's Mariano Lacasa fired away a free kick that almost went in the goal. Nicolae Ceaușescu was prepared for the shot, but didn't have to make a play as the shot flew over the goal. Master Champion BMX Flat were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Chile's much stronger midfield.
