After a rather tough play, Nascidos Para Jogar F.C's Erasmo Brito got a free kick in the 38th minute. 41 minutes into the game, Lorenzo Cazalla recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rogério Mello. Lorenzo Cazalla showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joel Gaona stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rogério Mello came out of the goal and Lautaro Mancebo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Joel Gaona took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rogério Mello. Rogério Mello dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Lautaro Mancebo scored 3-1 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rogério Mello, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaltino Fonseca in the 72nd minute of play. Rogério Mello made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 78th minute of play. In the 79th minute, Joel Gaona left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mexico fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Nascidos Para Jogar F.C's Isaltino Fonseca got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 91st minute, Lautaro Mancebo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rogério Mello showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gugu Saraiva in the 95th minute of the match.
