With a couple of smart ball manuevers Santino Seco in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ruslan Rúklyov saved VN BAKITO from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Axel Montenegro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ruslan Rúklyov was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. Axel Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Axel Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to VN BAKITO getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Blagoy Banovski hit a great ball. Colombia made a substitution. Abram Secada replaced Axel Montenegro. When the match clock showed 93 minutes, the score became 2-3 when Santino Seco sped through VN BAKITO's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ruslan Rúklyov. The VN BAKITO supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Colombia's performance. The match ended with a win for Colombia.
