Osmar Martins made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Cayetano Pancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alberto Txurio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antônio do Vale in the 25th minute of the match. When Angel Egoi fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Billinghurst FC's protests and gave Angel Egoi a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Billinghurst FC booed when Varjoia SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joel Barral didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Cauã Nunes fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Varjoia SC's protests and gave Cauã Nunes a yellow card for diving instead. In the 35th match minute, Varjoia SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cauã Nunes to maneuver through the defense. Cayetano Pancho succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 4-0 in the 38th playminute. 45 minutes into the match, Billinghurst FC's goal looked a bit too open when Germano Esteves came free, but Alberto Txurio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Antônio do Vale struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Alberto Txurio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Varjoia SC. 53 minutes into the game, Jonas Ramalho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Varjoia SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Billinghurst FC the free kick. In the 53rd match minute, Varjoia SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonas Ramalho to maneuver through the defense. In the 55th minute, Joel Siqueira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alberto Txurio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Germano Esteves in the 59th minute of play. Antônio do Vale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 73rd minute, Cauã Nunes reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Alberto Txurio. The goal made the score 5-1. Osmar Martins made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alonzo Pes in the 82nd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Angelino Ramone put it in 6-1 from a short distance just to the right of Osmar Martins. 90 minutes into the match, Varjoia SC's goal looked a bit too open when Alonzo Pes came free, but Osmar Martins reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Antônio do Vale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberto Txurio having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alonzo Pes in the 93rd minute of play forced Varjoia SC's goalkeeper Osmar Martins to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
