In the 4th minute Alfonso Di Toro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gert van der Werff saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Comunardo Bencivenni hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Adriaan Ricksen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Enzo Palleschi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, A.S.C.T Philadelphia's Enzo Palleschi got control of the ball when Damien Luirink tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Adriaan Ricksen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hellcity Redstars F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Adriaan Ricksen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Enzo Palleschi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Damien Luirink could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Enzo Palleschi made a huge save. Adriaan Ricksen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 27 minutes, Comunardo Bencivenni mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the A.S.C.T Philadelphia and the Hellcity Redstars F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Hellcity Redstars F.C booed when A.S.C.T Philadelphia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Comunardo Bencivenni didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfonso Di Toro in the 31st minute of play forced Hellcity Redstars F.C's goalkeeper Gert van der Werff to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Enzo Palleschi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adriaan Ricksen, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Gert van der Werff made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fausto Belardi in the 38th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in A.S.C.T Philadelphia's zone, Adriaan Ricksen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Enzo Palleschi came out of the goal and Adriaan Ricksen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adriaan Ricksen to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fausto Belardi got free with Gert van der Werff in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, A.S.C.T Philadelphia's Comunardo Bencivenni got a free kick in the 58th minute. 62 minutes into the match, A.S.C.T Philadelphia's goal looked a bit too open when Damien Luirink came free, but Enzo Palleschi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fausto Belardi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Damien Luirink fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enzo Palleschi having to interfere. If Adriaan Ricksen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fausto Belardi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 90th minute, A.S.C.T Philadelphia's Felice Castronovo seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Felice Castronovo the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of A.S.C.T Philadelphia protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Felice Castronovo had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Adriaan Ricksen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Enzo Palleschi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hellcity Redstars F.C walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
