An unexpectedly hard shot by Albino Jurdan in the 4th minute of play forced Uitzi FC's goalkeeper Gomesano Serrano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Humberto Quinton lost his temper 8 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Billinghurst FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 8th minute. Penalty! Petri Camacho placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! The supporters of Uitzi FC booed when Billinghurst FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angel Egoi didn't get a good kick on the ball. 14 minutes into the game, Basilio Emmanuel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Billinghurst FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Uitzi FC the free kick. If Carlos Tebaldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Uitzi FC's Unax Cartagena got a free kick in the 24th minute. In the 28th minute, Osmundo Viejo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alberto Txurio was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Osmundo Viejo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Alberto Txurio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Billinghurst FC's zone, Lalo Morales stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alberto Txurio came out of the goal and Lalo Morales tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Angelino Ramone managed to get in a good position for a shot. Billinghurst FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Angelino Ramone was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gomesano Serrano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alberto Txurio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Osmundo Viejo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Osmundo Viejo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberto Txurio having to interfere. Carlos Tebaldo succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-2 in the 47th playminute. After the first half Uitzi FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Carlos Tebaldo to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Lalo Morales shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alberto Txurio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Osmundo Viejo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 53rdth minute, Alberto Txurio skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Uitzi FC's goalkeeper Gomesano Serrano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 58 minutes had been played when some careless play by Uitzi FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gaspar Ederono was slow to take the kick. During this time Billinghurst FC's players had a chance to rest. Gaspar Ederono made a great header on Billinghurst FC's corner, it was just that Uitzi FC's Gomesano Serrano managed to reach the ball for a save. Osmundo Viejo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alberto Txurio having to make a save. In the 79th minute, Angelino Ramone left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Billinghurst FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Angel Egoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gomesano Serrano having to interfere. In the 90th minute Hermelando Huguet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alberto Txurio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carlos Tebaldo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
