The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Uitzi FC booed when Gigante da Colina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Umberto Gaúcho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gigante da Colina's Iuri Queirós got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 18th match minute, Uitzi FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Petri Camacho to maneuver through the defense. If Iuri Queirós had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Osmundo Viejo took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Juan Arruda to make any attempt to save it. Osmundo Viejo might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Juan Arruda. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Osmundo Viejo ran back to his position shaking his head. Juan Arruda stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Osmundo Viejo's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. Juan Arruda was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Lalo Morales showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 35 minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, Gigante da Colina's goal looked a bit too open when Osmundo Viejo came free, but Juan Arruda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Juan Arruda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osmundo Viejo in the 44th minute of play. 47 minutes into the match, Uitzi FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eriberto Leme came free, but Gomesano Serrano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Osmundo Viejo made a kick off. In the 52nd minute Iuri Queirós shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gomesano Serrano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gomesano Serrano was out of position in the 59 minute of play, and Iuri Queirós capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Iuri Queirós really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. Godfredo Zamora hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Cristiano Nogueira came free with the goalkeeper in the 66th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Gomesano Serrano could save by the left post. If Osmundo Viejo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Uitzi FC's zone, Eriberto Leme stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gomesano Serrano came out of the goal and Eriberto Leme tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 75 minutes into the match, Eriberto Leme had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gomesano Serrano. Uitzi FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eriberto Leme was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. Eriberto Leme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Gomesano Serrano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Uitzi FC's goalkeeper Gomesano Serrano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the Gigante da Colina defense, Osmundo Viejo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Juan Arruda. The Gigante da Colina fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Juan Arruda should have stopped the shot. Osmundo Viejo scored 5-2 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Juan Arruda, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Hermelando Huguet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Petri Camacho hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. 91 minutes into the match, Uitzi FC's goalkeeper Gomesano Serrano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Iuri Queirós. A collision led to Uitzi FC getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Regis Jauregui hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Uitzi FC's zone, Cristiano Nogueira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gomesano Serrano came out of the goal and Cristiano Nogueira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Iuri Queirós sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Uitzi FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
