Xiao Rotalo started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Banderaló's goal looked a bit too open when Zeruko Elizondo came free, but Serafino Miro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paz Rayon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serafino Miro having to interfere. Washington Othaz took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Serafino Miro. Serafino Miro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. If Washington Othaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 14th minute Zeruko Elizondo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serafino Miro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emilio Trespalacios was out of position in the 18 minute of play, and Valentin Nuxila capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Valentin Nuxila really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. After 20 minutes, Artemio Nerio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Banderaló and the La Granja players grew even worse after the yellow card. Paz Rayon struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Serafino Miro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Granja. Paz Rayon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Serafino Miro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Serafino Miro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zeruko Elizondo in the 28th minute of the match. In the 30th minute Xiao Rotalo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serafino Miro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Omar Tercero got free with Emilio Trespalacios in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Serafino Miro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Xiao Rotalo's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. After having played for 37 minutes, Washington Othaz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Granja's supporters crossed their fingers, but Washington Othaz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Xiao Rotalo took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Serafino Miro. Serafino Miro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. 43 minutes into the match, Zeruko Elizondo notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Banderaló's Serafino Miro. Serafino Miro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Washington Othaz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serafino Miro having to interfere. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Amado Palban to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Xiao Rotalo in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Serafino Miro saved Banderaló from getting behind. La Granja's Paz Rayon got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zeruko Elizondo struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Serafino Miro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Granja. 58 minutes into the match, Banderaló's goal looked a bit too open when Washington Othaz came free, but Serafino Miro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Xiao Rotalo in the 59thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Serafino Miro, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The throw-in from Carolo Bingen in the 65th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by La Granja's Uxio Dorronsoro. In the 65th match minute, La Granja was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patricio Herrara to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Omar Tercero in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emilio Trespalacios prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Emilio Trespalacios took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amado Palban, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Banderaló getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Claudio Abecia hit a great ball. Washington Othaz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Serafino Miro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 72 minutes into the match, La Granja's goal looked a bit too open when Amado Palban came free, but Emilio Trespalacios reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Paz Rayon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 80 minutes, Zeruko Elizondo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Granja's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zeruko Elizondo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of La Granja booed when Banderaló was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emiliano Casomiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 87th minute, Washington Othaz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zeruko Elizondo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Serafino Miro made a huge save. When Paz Rayon came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the La Granja fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paz Rayon couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Omar Tercero in the 94th minute of play forced La Granja's goalkeeper Emilio Trespalacios to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
